A very good start for two episodes! Billy Bob Thorton (Tommy Norris) is absolutely great in the title role.
In short, I fear creator/writer Taylor Sheridan might fall into a sticker mentality and reduce the series to: Big Oil: Bad!
I saw Jacob Lofland (Cooper Norris) when he was on Justified; Ali Larter (Angela Norris) as Tommy’s ex-wife and Michelle Randolph (Ainsley Norris), Tommy’s daughter, are insufferable and I already hope they get really bad! The character of Jon Hamm (Monty Miller), who owns the company and is Tommy’s boss, might reflect my hopefully unrealized fears for this growing series.
